UV Chair of Youth actively participates in research networks and projects on an autonomical, state and international scale in order to strengthen collaboration between institutions, share knowledge and generate scientific and professional advancement in the area of youth.

For the last years, the Chair has collaborated with universities, public administrations and social entities in diverse initiatives orientes to understand and improve life conditions of young people, as well as te frames and methodologies of social-educational intervention.

Among the recent projects, we highlight:

  • Social-Educational Research Network on Youth, coordinated by University of Girona. Participating members of the network, contributing the development of collective research and scientific exchange spaces.
  • Project 4HEBE (Ministry of Universities). The Chair participates as a collaborating entity and two team memberse are part of the Advisor Council.
  • International cooperation project with Digimevo and AECID. A programme of residence improvement for minors in Ecuador. This project stablished bases for the development of Youth world, a strategic international transference line of the Chair.
  • Project Erasmus+ KA220 YOU “Skills Maps” (2025–2027). A project led by the Chair in collaboration of the Daugavpils City Hall (Latvia), the province government of Anhalt-Sachsen Bitterfeld (Germany) and the Second Chance School in Matosinhos (Portugal). The goal is to develop skill maps to mentor young people on three challenges: digitalisation, climate change and social cohesion. These materials are aimed for professionals working with young people: social workers, teachers, social paedagogists and second chance schools.
