GESDITAL: LOCALIZACIÓN, MONITORIZACIÓN Y GESTIÓN DE RECURSOS HOSPITALARIOS EN TIEMPO REAL PARA LA OPTIMIZACIÓN DE PROCESOS

RESUMEN

El objetivo de este proyecto es investigar cómo se pueden utilizar ventajosamente las modernas tecnologías de localización para mejorar la calidad y la eficiencia operativa de los servicios de salud prestados por los hospitales. Este objetivo global se especifica en los siguientes objetivos concretos: Crear modelos innovadores y realistas de procesos hospitalarios que saquen partido de la capacidad de las tecnologías emergentes de capturar automáticamente datos de localización en tiempo real; desarrollar algoritmos eficientes de resolución on-line de dichos modelos; validar la factibilidad del trabajo desarrollado mediante simulación y realizando pruebas de concepto en un laboratorio hardware y difundir los resultados del proyecto en: la comunidad científica, el ámbito de la salud y en las empresas tecnológicas que trabajan para hospitales.

SUMMARY

LOCATION, MONITORISATION AND MANAGEMENT OF HOSPITAL RESOURCES IN REAL TIME TO OPTIMISE THE PROCESSES The objective of this project is to study how to make a better use of modern technologies of location to improve the quality and operative efficiency of hospital health systems. This global objective is detailed in the following specific goals: (i) create innovative and realistic models of hospital processes that take advantage of the ability of emerging technologies to capture automatically location data in real time; (ii) develop efficient algorithms that solve those models online; (iii) validate the feasibility of the developed work by means of simulation and of conceptual tests in a hardware laboratory and (iv) communicate the project results to the scientific community, the health field and technology firms that work for hospitals.
