D. Granero is from Albacete (Spain). He received his Licenciado en Física degree and latter defended his PhD at the University of Valencia in Monte Carlo methods applied to brachytherapy. Then he moved to La Fe Hospital to complete his residency period in Medical Physics. After that he joined to the medical physics staff at “ERESA-Hospital General Universitario de Valencia” where he has been working since 2009. His research interests are mainly the Monte Carlo methods applied to brachytherapy and other topics related to radiotherapy. He is author of numerous papers, mainly in the brachytherapy ambit.
