Paula was born in Arujá, Brazil, in September 1985. She received the Licenciado degree in Physics and the M.Sc. degree in Medical Physics from the University of Sao Paulo (USP), Brazil in 2007 and 2010, respectively. From 2011 to 2013 she worked at Brazil Navy in the project of nuclear submarine as research assistant. From 2012 to 2015 she was a professor of physics in Engineering department at University Nine of July in Sao Paulo, Brazil. She is currently Ph.D. student at USP and performs an internship at University of Valencia (UV), Spain, in the Atomic, Molecular, and Nuclear physics department. Her research interests include the area of Medical Physics, mainly those aspects related with experimental dosimetry and Monte Carlo simulations.
