Keeping an Eye on Earth

This map shows the fires detected during the last 6 hours by our MTG FCI receiving station. The older the detection, the less opaque it appears on the map.

Hotspots are detected by a local implementation of the MTG FCI: ATBD for Active Fire Monitoring Product algorithm.
