The fourth conference of experts on 31 January revolved around communication, education, participation and social-territorial resilience, focusing on necessary keys to reach citizens and the ‘decision-makers’.
During the session, experts explained key actions to adapt to climate change-induces natural conditions as a society in the context of emergencies, under the social-territorial resilience paradigm. This way, they highlighted the consolidation of social interrelated networks and the creation of a solid educative base on every level.
The group tried to showcase some ideas related with social-territorial resilience, education with climate context, effective and trustworthy communication and responsible media among others.
In conclusion, they created a series of recommendations to strengthen communication and climate action with a participative and territory approach, promoting prevention, mitigation and adaptation to climate change. The highlight is on the discursive strategies guide, the collaborative platform (E-Consulta) and transmedia campaigns.
