The Centre Internacional de Gandia of the Universitat de València will host throughout this academic year a series of conferences about the environment under the name of 'Environmental Thinking and Climate Action'.

The aim is to address, via serenity and critical thinking, a collective reflection about environmental challenges of the present and the future.

The conferences will take place monthly and will be led by UV professor Artemi Cerdà and invited experts.

These meetings are open to the general public and do not require previous registration.

• On 23 October. Jordi Martín Diaz y Carles Barriocanal. Canvi Global i Crisi Ecosocial i Perspectives  Futures. Una aportació acadèmica.
• On 27 November. Ascensión Padilla. La mujeres de la ciencia. Reivindicando el trabajo pionero.
• On 11 December. José Antonio Franco. Agricultura valenciana en cifras. 
• On 29 January. Joan Elies Andrés i Serer. Caminar en los valles  de la Marina. Reencontrar la naturaleza.
• On 5 February. Xavier Anduix. Medio Ambiente en el aula. El trabajo del educador.
