Conference held on March 6th regarding how daily news headlines shape and challenge the interpretation of current laws.

On March 6th, 2026, the conference «Legal Learning through Media: When Law Becomes News» was held at the Graduation Hall (Salón de Grados) of the Faculty of Law. The event, organized by Paula Granell Ramírez, Nuria León Pérez and Francisco Castillo Iborra, analyzed the intersection between journalism and legal science.

Analysis of international taxation:
In Panel 3 on public policies, the intervention of Teresa Puchol Tur (member of the AEMES group) stood out, providing a critical analysis of the global minimum tax on multinationals (Pillar Two) and its media coverage.

The conference covered multidisciplinary topics such as: Protection of fundamental rights and procedural guarantees. Challenges of sustainability. Artificial intelligence in today's markets.
