
On May 7, the Faculty of Law of the Universitat de València is hosting “Jornada sobre Cooperativas de Viviendas en Cesión de Uso”. An event organized by Aula Empresocial (whose members are part of the AEMES research group) in collaboration with the FISCAP project. Their aim is to deepen the legal, fiscal and practical keys of this alternative housing model.
The event is held in hybrid format: in-person in the Sala del Hemiciclo Joaquín Tomás Villarroya and via Zoom. Invited professors and professionals from the sector will join the event yia Zoom to discuss a growing model as a solution to the housing problem.
A program focused on the legal and fiscal reality
The institutional opening is schedule for 10.30am, will be attended by Clara Viana Ballester, dean of the Faculty of Dret, Francisco Pérez-Caballero, president of FECOVI, and Professor Pilar Alguacil Marí, co-director of the Aula Empresocial.
During the day, there will be held various plannes on different fundamental topics:
- Roundtable led by FECOVI with the professor Antonina Sajardo Moreno (UV) and lawyer Cristina Grau López
- At 12.45pm, experts Pilar Alguacil Mari and Pilar Bonet Sànchez will analyze specifically the taxation of such cooperatives.
- The afternoon session will focus on "how it is done", with direct testimonies from emblematic projects such as Entrepatios (Madrid) and Residencial Santa Clara, moderated by Teresa Puchol Tur.
