Confidentiality clause

When using e-mail, a confidentiality clause should always be included in the footer of the e-mail, specifying the classification level of the information and the corresponding access restrictions.

Article 7. Electronic mail and corporate network (Regulation of information security in the use of electronic media of the University of Valencia)

1. The use of email for corporate communications will be limited to University accounts, and must comply with the purpose of the employee's performance, with the inclusion of the clause relating to the confidentiality of the data and the use of the email contact exclusively for the purpose of this mail.

Its content is considered confidential and, unless the nature of it so requires, its reproduction or distribution is not permitted without express authorization. If you have improperly received the mail, please notify the sender of this and proceed with its elimination. Any incident related to the reception of our emails and in particular those relating to security and confidentiality can be reported to lopd@uv.es.
