An increase in the number of incidents related to viruses that "hijack" the files of the computer (hard disk, USB ...) has been detected, encrypting its contents and demanding a money transfer as a "rescue" so that they can recover the files. The most common form of infection is through the reception of emails that usually use hooks such as receiving a certified letter of mail or a fax, an invoice, or any other type of trick that incites users to open a link or an attachment that includes such emails. Some basic security tips to try to alleviate this type of threat are: - DO NOT FOLLOW LINKS NOR OPEN ATTACKS in emails of dubious origin. In case of receiving suspicious emails inform us of this situation. - Keep the equipment and the antivirus updated to detect the latest versions of the virus. - Perform regular backup copies of all important information that you do not want to lose.
