Registration

Everyone wishing to attend ESIL 2012 −whether as a delegate or as a speaker − MUST register using the online registration system.

The registration process begins on 1st February 2012. There will be an ‘Early Birds’ period until 30 April 2012. Registration to the ESIL 2012 General Conference works on a “first arrived - first served” rule. So, register yourself before 30th April 2012 in order to secure your place in Valencia and reduce your registration fees.

Registration fees cover the main conference sessions, coffee breaks and the welcome reception.

Although it is not necessary to be a member of ESIL to register for the conference, ESIL members receive substantial reductions in the conference registration fees. In order to be eligible for these fee reductions, registrants must be paid-up members of ESIL BEFORE registering for the conference. Please visit the ESIL website for information and joining instructions.

Agora speakers will be exempted from the conference fee, provided they are ESIL members. The organisation does not cover expenses for travelling and accommodation.

ESIL MEMBERSHIP
You must be a paid-up ESIL member BEFORE you start the registration process in order to benefit from any of the applicable discounted registration fees. Discounted bookings made for participants who do not hold a valid ESIL membership will be deleted. If you are unsure of your ESIL membership status, please contact ESIL directly at http://www.esil-sedi.eu/english/membership.html or email: esil.secretariat@eui.eu.

REGISTRATION TYPE
Once you enter the registration system, you will be prompted to introduce some data in order to receive your login (username and password). This login shall be mandatory to gain access to the registration system. Please, secure your login information. There are several different registration types:

ESIL Member Delegate
ESIL Student Delegate
General Delegate (non ESIL member)
Agora Speaker
Contributor (fora and agora’s chairs, panelists and discussants)
ESIL Board member

Agora Speakers: we have reserved a place for you. Please, wait to the confirmation of the receipt of an ESIL 2012 bursary before registration (for accommodation information only). In any case, you must be a member of ESIL in order to qualify for a waived registration fee. Otherwise you will need to register and pay the associated fee. If your abstract is finally accepted, and you are an ESIL member, the fee will be reimbursed to you.

ESIL Student Member registrations: the number of Student registrations is limited to a maximum of 30 and are only available during the 'early-bird' registration period, which begins on 1st February and ends 30 April 2012.

ESIL Interest Group: Contributors to the pre-conference interest groups who also wish to attend the main ESIL 2012 conference must register under the appropriate registration type. Please read the registration descriptions page carefully to ensure you choose the right type. NB: Only contributors to the main ESIL 2012 conference may book a 'Contributor' registration type.

LOGGING INTO THE ESIL 2012 REGISTRATION SYSTEM

The registration system for ESIL 2012 is hosted by ensumaCONGRESOS online system and not by ESIL. NB: The system ESIL uses for ESIL membership registrations is a different system to the one operated by the ESIL 2012 General Conference registration. Login information created during ESIL membership registration will not be known by the ensumaCONGRESOS Conference system.

EMAIL ADDRESS AND DELEGATE INFORMATION

During the registration process you will be asked to provide a valid email address and other contact information for the delegate/registrant. Please ensure you enter the email address correctly. The information provided will appear on your name badge (complete name, institution/country). By submitting this information you approve the inclusion of the registrant’s name, title and institution on the published delegate/participant list.

PAYMENT

Registrations and their related options can be paid by:

(a)Credit card: during the registration process you will be redirected to a secure bank payment gateway. Be sure to have you credit card ready. Note that each service must be paid separately: one payment for the registration, another payment for the additional services as gala dinner. The system will guide you through the process.

(b)Bank transfer: you must pay for within 48 hours. These are the bank details:

HOTEL ACCOMMODATION AND ADDITIONAL OPTIONS

Bookings for hotel accommodation must be confirmed and guaranteed with a credit card.
A full list of hotels close to the Conference premises will be provided during the registration process. A list with pre-booked hotels made by the Organisation may be seen here.
