"Mapping the continuum: interdisciplinary approaches to technology-enabled harm, human security and digital justice"

 

The International Conference on Digital Violence (ICDV 2026) will be held in a hybrid format at the Faculty of Law of the University of Valencia on 13 and 14 October 2026.

 

The conference aims to foster interdisciplinary dialogue on the legal, technological, social and psychological dimensions of digital violence. Through the exchange of innovative research and critical perspectives, the conference aims to foster interdisciplinary dialogue on the legal, technological, social, psychological, educational and ethical dimensions of digital violence, whilst contributing to the development of evidence-based responses to one of the most pressing challenges of the digital age.

Call for papers:

The event has been organised by Manon Eleonora Laganà under the supervision of the Scientific Committee as a follow-up initiative to the student-led FORTHEM project: ‘Preventing and combating digital violence at university through awareness-raising, student-led strategies and academic outreach initiatives’. This conference is supported by the ‘Fuera de Clase’ funding programme at the University of Valencia, through the Vice-Rectorate for Students, Educational Transformation and Learning
