International Bootcamp on One Health: connecting research and industry to drive innovation, knowledge transfer, and sustainable solutions.
The Faculty of Pharmacy and Food Sciences at the University of Valencia will host the FORTHEM Bootcamp: One Health as a Model for Industrial Knowledge Transfer, from February 3rd to 5th, 2026. This international event will bring together academic experts, industry professionals, and students to explore how the One Health concept —an approach that integrates human, animal, and environmental health to address global challenges—can serve as a bridge between university research and the business sector.

For three days, at the University of Valencia's Science Campus (Burjassot), participants will have the opportunity to learn about successful collaborations between startups and industry, discover European projects with companies, and visit innovation centers or the University of Valencia Science Park.
The program includes:
- Day 1 (Tuesday, 3 February): Opening session and lectures on industrial collaboration in the One Health field, with presentations of practical case studies.
- Day 2 (Wednesday, 4 February): Presentation of industrial PhDs, the Transfer, and Innovation service; and a visit to the UV Science Park.
- Day 3 (Thursday, 5 February): Technical visits to innovation centers and conclusion of the bootcamp.
This event is a unique opportunity to foster knowledge transfer, drive innovation, and establish synergies between university and industry in an international context, applying the One Health perspective to generate sustainable and interdisciplinary solutions.
