Since 1997, high school teacher Bruce Farrer has been telling his students to do a task: write a letter to themselves about how they imagine their lives in twenty years. He has all these letters and, twenty years after, he sends them to his former students through mailbox. Narrating the impact they produce in their addressees, EL MÉTODO FARRER (The Farrer method) portraits, with a fantasy tone, the task of a special Canadian teacher and it ellaborates a surprising reflection about the child we all have inside of us and that we may have forgotten. EL MÉTODO FARRER breaks in like a reminder that allow us to stop, look back and think that it is never too late to (re)connect. It makes us be witnesses of how such a simple thing like writing a letter can cause a true revolution. Sometimes, a simple gesture is enough to leave a legacy.
