Hundred Year War, 14th and 15th centuries. In 1431, a young Joan of Arch, after achieving victory for the French troops, is arrested and accused of witchcraft. She declares to have received God’s mission to save France, but is processed nonetheless and condemned to die at the stake. (FILMAFFINITY)
