Repair and modification of three facades of the Faculty of Geography and History

There are two concrete facades in the building, one facing the Faculty of Philosophy (east facade) and the other facing the Geography cafeteria (west facade). These facades are currently fenced off and signposted due to emergency work undertaken by the UV to stabilise the concrete spalling in October 2020. For this reason, further emergency work was conducted to correct the spalling on both facades, as it could lead to an imminent fall. This was then used as an opportunity to carry out a study of the constitution of both facades.
As a result, the repair of the concrete facades has been under consideration.
