Call for papers: International Congress “Law in the Face of Natural Disasters after the October 29th DANA”

We invite the submission of papers for the International Congress to be held at the Faculty of Law of the University of Valencia on November 20th and 21st, 2025. The event will analyze the legal and social response to extreme climatic phenomena.

Areas of interest include administrative prevention and management of hydrological disasters, urban planning and mitigation infrastructure, political emergency management, and economic, social, and environmental recovery processes. Proposals (full paper or abstract of at least 2 pages) must be sent to claudia.gimeno@uv.es by September 30th. The organization will cover up to €300 in expenses for three papers selected for their excellence.
