On April 27th, Cocentaina hosts a seminar on AI, authorship, and fundamental rights organized by the University of Alicante and the University of Valencia.

On April 27th, 2023, the University of Alicante's campus in Cocentaina will host the "Joint seminar on philosophy of law and public law regarding artificial intelligence." The event is organized by the "Teoria del Dret" (UA) and "Regulation" (UV) research groups.

The seminar features the following lectures:

• Lucas E. Misseri (University of Alicante): "Authorship and artificial intelligence."

• Lorenzo Cotino Hueso (University of Valencia): "Guarantees for the protection of fundamental rights against the use of artificial intelligence."

The meeting will also showcase several research projects focused on legal reasoning, public algorithm registries, and digital economy regulation, involving key scholars such as Andrés Boix Palop and Gabriel Doménech Pascual.
