
Description
of research activity
MINTOTA
was created in 1988, it is recognized as a PROMETEO of
I + D excellence group by Generalitat Valenciana
since 2012. The current investigation interests are:
analytical chemistry, nanomaterials, chromatography, in-situ
analysis, sensors and biosensors, metrology
in chemistry, instrumental analysis, enviromental
science, health, safety, food, solid phase in tube
microextraction, in line methods and instrumental
portability. MINTOTA has an available laboratory which
integrates a big number of instrumental techniques.
The
investigation work has been done thanks to
aproximately thirty different investigation
projects funded by public organisms (national
plan, regional, and european funds) and research
contracts. The work done has been shown in
published papers for prestigious international
scientific magazines, contributions to
conferences, dissertations, research project for
undergrade and master studies, and obtaining
four patents. The group carries out an
investigation that has multidisciplinarity and
multisectorality as
added values,
through
stable collaborations with other national and
international research groups, and also with other
public and private sectors. Furthermore their main
goal is to contribute in society.
Scientific
and technical objectives
-Provide new scientific knowledge in
chemistry.
-Transferring knowledge to society in the
environmental fields, including drug addiction health,
food and industrial.
