Resumen
Se
presenta un estudio descriptivo sobre el solapamiento de problemas
atencionales, de hiperactividad e impulsividad en base a la composición
escrita, y de otras medidas psicológicas como la inteligencia o el
rendimiento, en una muestra de 213 alumnos de 7 a 16 años, estudiados
individualmente, extraídos de 19 centros educativos, que presentaban
bajo rendimiento y/o dificultades de aprendizaje. Los datos indican la
necesidad de conocer no sólo los perfiles cognitivos, sino los de
rendimiento, así como el uso de otras medidas neuropsicológicas,
y el estudio del contexto familiar y escolar para poder comprender con mayor
precisión la naturaleza de estos problemas, y superar las limitaciones
de este estudio.
Abstract
We present a
descriptive study about the overlapping of attentional, hyperactivity and
impulsivity disorders in writing composition of students with learning
disabilities. Writing composition measurements and other psychological ones
were taken, such as intelligence or achievement. The sample consisted of 213
students from 7 to 16 years old, all of them with low achievement and/or
learning disabilities, tested individually, selected from 19 different schools.
Data shows that in order to better understanding the nature of these disorders,
and to overcome the shortcomings of this research, it is necessary to know, not
only the cognitive profiles but also those concerning the achievement, as well
as the use of other neuropsychological measurements and the family and school
contexts.

Resumen
La
psicoterapia se caracteriza por la importancia dada a la interacción entre
el psicólogo y el paciente en una relación cara a cara. No
obstante, determinadas actividades insertas en ella que implican tareas
concretas que le paciente puede llevar en su medio natural son susceptibles de
ser aplicadas y potenciadas a través del uso de ordenadores y de
Internet. La investigación clínica realizada en este sentido
muestra un número importante y significativo de aplicaciones
clínicas que cubre trastornos de ansiedad, depresión, trastornos
del comportamiento alimentario y otros de especial relevancia. Los resultados
de las investigaciones muestran la utilidad de estos programas así como
su facilidad de diseminación y generalización reconocida en la
sanidad pública. Todo ello hace de estos recursos asistenciales una
posibilidad de futuro en las posibilidades de la psicoterapia en el
ámbito de atención pública sanitaria.
Abstract
One of the most
relevant characteristic of face to face psychotherapy is the interaction
between psychologists and patients in a clinical context. However, psychologists
used to recommend, as an important part of the treatment, some tasks to be made
in the patients’ natural environment. This kind of tasks can be
implemented via computer or Internet. Clinical investigation in this field
shows an important number of programs relating to different psychological
problems such as anxiety, depression and eating behaviour. Their results show
that, apart from its clinical relevance, these programs can add one salient
advantage: They could be easier to be spread among population, as has already
been recognized by a pub-lic health control agency. Altogether, it could be
said that computerised and online clinical resources can be included in the
future of psychotherapy offered by public health systems.

Resumen
Este trabajo tiene por
objetivo validar la estructura de la Escala de Creen-cias Sociales
Contemporáneas (CSC) para explorar las medidas de postmodernidad en el
contexto chileno. La muestra quedó compuesta por 304 estudiantes
universitarios de la ciudad de Antofagasta. Los resultados indican que la CSC
es un instrumento confiable (alpha de Cronbach de .83), toda vez que la validez
de la estructura interna de la escala se puso a prueba mediante análisis
factoriales de tipo exploratorio y confirmatorio (el modelo de 3 dimensiones
que plantean los autores mostró adecuados índices de ajuste).
Abstract
This work aims to
validate the structure of Contemporary Social Beliefs Scale (CSB) to explore
postmodernism measures in the Chilean context. The sample consisted of 304
university students in the city of Antofagasta which responded the CSB and SDO,
RWA, Patriotism and Nationalism scales. The results show good levels of
reliability and validity of the instrument and meaningful weak relationships
with all scales incorporated. The analysis approach we suggest that the
variable career studying is the only one that presented significant
differences, which speaks to us in respect of this kind of belief can not be
identified in the subjects using the traditional distinctions. Finally, it
tested the 3 dimensions model posed by the authors through a confirmatory
factor analysis, which confirmed its adequacy and use.

En
España, la intervención social se está desarrollando al
amparo del auge del “Tercer Sector Productivo” y de la
intensificación de la vocación aplicada de la psicología
social. Este artículo aborda la importancia del perfil profesional de “intervención
social” y su relación con el conocimiento psicosocial, desde tres
aspectos complementarios: 1) Identifica algunas características
epistemológicas, teóricas y metodológicas de la
psicología social. 2) Basado en este análisis, postula un
“modelo sistémico de influencia asimétrica” para
orientar la investigación aplicada y la intervención sociales,
caracterizado por estar: a) inspirado en aportaciones de cinco marcos
teóricos (sociocognitivismo, teoría de la identidad social,
teoría de la influencia social, interaccionismo simbólico y
construccionismo social); b) estructurado en cuatro niveles (sociocultural,
grupal-comunitario, individual y conductual); c)articulados median-te un
proceso espiral de influencia “centrípeta-centrífuga”
y asimétrica. 3) Finalmente, indaga las implicaciones de este modelo en
la práctica de la intervención social proponiendo diez
principios-guía que orienten su actividad profesional e investigado-ra.
Abstract
In
Spain, social intervention is developing under the rise of the “Third
Productive Sector” and the intensification of the applied vocation of
social psychology. This article approaches the importance of the professional
profile of “social intervention” and its relation with psychosocial
knowledge, from three different complementary aspects: 1) Identification of some
epistemological, theoretical and methodological characteristics of social
psychology; 2) Based on this analysis, it postulates a “systemic model of
asymmetric influence” to direct research and social interventions,
characterised by being: a) inspired in contributions of five theoretical frames
(socio-cognitive, theory of social identity, theory of social influence,
symbolic interactionism and social constructivism); b) structured at four
levels (socio-cultural, group-communitarian, individual and behavioural); c)
articulated through a spiral process of influence
“centripetal-centrifugal” and asymmetrical. 3) Finally, it
investigates the implications to this model in the practice of social
intervention proposing ten guiding-principles that direct its professional and
research activity.

Las
propiedades de la medida del Index of Spouse Abuse (ISA) no han sido
establecidas dentro de un contexto hispanohablante. Por consiguiente, el
presente estudio tiene la intención de examinar algunas propiedades
psicométricas del instrumento en una muestra de mujeres
salvadoreñas. Las participantes (N = 300), con edades comprendidas entre
los 18 y los 57 años, completaron el ISA, el Índice de
Asertividad Sexual de Hurlbert y la Escala de Autoestima de Rosenberg. Los resultados
del análisis de componentes principales revelaron una estructura
compuesta por dos factores (Abuso no físico y Abuso físico) que
explicaron el 62,87% de la varianza total. Ocho ítems tuvieron que ser
eliminados porque eran inconsistentes con la estructura original del ISA,
presentando así ambos factores elevados coefi-cientes alfa de
consistencia interna (0,95 y 0,88, respectivamente). Se discuten es-tos
hallazgos en relación a los esfuerzos de investigación previos.
Por otra parte, las correlaciones entre las subescalas de abuso, asertividad
sexual y autoestima fueron congruentes con la investigación precedente,
apoyando la validez de la versión es-pañola del ISA.
Abstract
Measurement
properties of the Index of Spouse Abuse (ISA) have not been established within
a Spanish-speaking context. Therefore, the present study aims to examine some
psychometric properties of the ISA in a Salvadorian female sample. Participants
(N = 300) ranged in age from 18 to 57 years; they completed the ISA, the
Hurlbert Index of Sexual Assertiveness, and the Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale.
Results of principal component analysis revealed a two-factor structure
(Non-physical abuse and Physical abuse) accounted for 62.87% of the total
variance. Eight items had to be dropped because they were inconsistent with the
original structure of the ISA, resulting high internal consistency alpha
coefficients on both factors (.95 and .88, respectively). These findings are
discussed in relation to previous research efforts. On the other hand,
correlations between abuse subscales, sexual assertiveness and self-esteem were
congruent with prior research, supporting the validity of the Spanish version
of the ISA.
