Our colleagues Adolfo Alonso, Rut Lucas, Cristina Rius, Rafa Aleixandre and Yiming Liu have been at the International Society for Knowledge Organization / VII ISKO Spain - Portugal Congress, in Porto

This week, our colleagues Adolfo Alonso, Rut Lucas, Cristina Rius, Rafa Aleixandre, and Yiming Liu attended the International Society for Knowledge Organization / VII ISKO Spain-Portugal Congress in Porto.

It was a very productive congress where we had the opportunity to present the following work:

• Collaboration between Portugal and Spain in addiction research.
• Comparative analysis of scientific output on addiction in Portugal and Spain (2014-2023): Impact assessment, funding, and open access.
• Gender balance in Spanish public universities in the field of education.
• Gender analysis in biomedical research in Portugal and Spain.

These studies are being conducted within the framework of our projects:

• EQUALITUM (Women's Institute - Ministry of Equality).
• EDUCADATA "Open research data in Educational Sciences as a driver of social change" (Ministry of Science and Innovation).
