The event will gather eminent professors in the Private Law Seminar “Vicente L. Montés Penadés” to debate about the reform of Wealth Tax, Temporary Solidarity Tax, and international models such as the Colombian one.

The Universitat de València will become the epicentre of the tax debate with the celebration of the FISCAP 4th Seminar. The event, that will take place on 14 May at 3:30pm –both face-to-face and by videoconference–, will focus on the taxation of large fortunes and the possibility to establish minimum tax rates globally.

The session will count with prestigious lecturers such as Saturnina Moreno González (UCLM), who is going to open the turn for presentations with the analysis of tax justice in wealth taxation. Subsequently, critical topics will be addressed, such as the temporary solidarity tax of larger fortunes, at the hands of Modesto Fabra Valls (UJI), and the Colombian tax model with Consuelo Arranz de Andrés (UC). 

The seminar, conducted by the co-IP of the FISCAP project, Salvador Montesinos Oltra and María Pilar Alguacil Marí, will conclude with an open colloquium after debating if the system moves toward a tax based on wealth rather than income.
