On 24 May 2000 V University-Society Session was held, organised by the Board of Trustees of the UV and the University-Business Foundation, where the Awards Univesitat-Societat were bestowed.

Attendees

The session was attended by over 400 people and it counted on the presence  of the President of the Board of Trustees of the Universitat de València, Carlos Pascual de Miguel, the principal of the University, Pedro Ruiz Torres, and other representatives of academic and business world, as professors and  general managers.

Sessions Programme

Opening of the 10th University-Society Sessions with the following programme:

• Welcoming message and presentation by the President of the Board of Trustees of the UV, D. Carlos Pascual de Miguel.
• Participation of D.  Damián Frontera Roig, general manager of Omsa Alimentació.
• Participation of D. Javier Quesada Ibánez, full university professor of economic analysis of the Universitat de València.
• The secretary of the Board of Trustees D. Vicente Boquera Amil, read the minutes of the plenary session of the Board of Trustees in which awards were bestowed.
• Univesity-Society Cooperation Awards Ceremony of the Board of Trustees of the UV.
• Ended the ceremony, the professor D. Ismael Fernández  Guerrero said a few words on behalf of the winners in the university scope.
• Participation of  D. Ángel Villanueva Pareja, president of “Cartera Inmuebles SL" on behalf of the winners in the business and institutional scope.
• Participation of the Vice-President of the Valencian Government, D. José Joaquín Ripoll Serrano.
• Participation of Pedro Ruiz Torres, Principal of the Universitat de València.
