On 21 May 2008 the XIV University-Society Session was held, organised by the Board of Trustees of the UV and the University-Business Foundation, where the Awards Univesitat-Societat were bestowed.

Attendees

Among the 200 people who attended it, there were some of the most renowned entrepreneurs of Valencia and officials from both the Universitat de València and the Valencian Government. Among others, the event counted on the participation of the councillors of Education, Social Welfare and Industry, professors, deans and vice-principals of the Universitat de València, the heads as Ford, Aumar, Importaco or Pavasal or presidents of organizations like the Chamber of Commerce, Feria Valencia and the Valencia Business Confederation, among others.

• Presentation of the awards ceremony of the XIV University-Society Awards, hosted by journalist D. Bernardo Guzmán.
• Reading of the minutes by the secretary of the Board of Trustees, Vicente Boquera Amil, and awards ceremony.
