On 28 February of 2011 was held the XVI University-Society Session, organised by the Social Council of the UV and the University-Business Foundation, where the Awards Univesitat-Societat were given.

The event, in its 16th edition, was chair by the President of the Valencian Government, Francisco Camps, the Principal of the UV, Francisco Tomás, and the President of the Board of Trustees of the UV, Carlos Pascual.

Business people, students and teaching staff of the UV also attend the event.
