On 27 June 2012 the 17th University-Society Session was held, organised by the Board of Trustees of the UV and the University-Business Foundation, where the Univesitat-Societat Awards Ceremony took place.

The event was chair by the President of the Valencian Government, Alberto Fabra, the Principal of the UV, Esteban Morcillo, and the President of the Board of Trustees of the UV and the University-Business Foundation, Carlos Pascual.

Business people, students and teaching staff of the UV also attended the event.
