With the goal of promoting creation, thought and cultural management from a critical perspective, and also with the aim of boosting the university community’s participation in the cultural action of the Universitat de València, the Cultural Observatory develops various lines of action: strategic assessment, organisation of conferences, seminars and other activities related to all the different cultural and creative fields; introduction of the emerging socially-relevant subjects into the cultural agenda; participation in culture-related knowledge networks, etc.
Within the above-mentioned context, the Observatory releases a new line of action focused on training and knowledge transfer for the 2020-2021 academic year. Objectively, it will offer courses and workshops in different formats aimed at heterogeneous audiences, contributing to competence acquisition, idea generation, debate and the detection of shortcomings and opportunities linked to the Universitat’s cultural mission in a wide sense.
