L’Atalante. Revista de Estudios Cinematográficos is a biannually publication edited in paper by the L’Atalante Association and distributed by the Servei de Publicacions de la Universitat de València (SPUV) (Publications Service of the University of Valencia) to bookshops of Spain and other Spanish-speaking countries (Argentina, Colombia, Peru, Puerto Rico, Mexico…). The project was born in 2003 within the university community as a result of the Cinefórum L’Atalante Association's desire to know and understand cinema.
