Prior to the development of teaching materials design support processes are proposed. The referral service on these issues is the Lifelong Learning Service and Educational Innovation (SFPIE):

- Techno-pedagogical advice for the design of open learning objects.
- Training courses in educational technology.
- Tutorials on generating materials.
- Training on demand: UV staff may request the organization of training activities not included in the offer of training courses.
