Human and material resources
In addition to the teaching staff who can supervise doctoral theses, there is also a technical and administrative support person linked to the management of the programme.
The Department of Accounting also has the necessary material resources to help doctoral students carry out their doctoral thesis. These include the following:
- 2 shared offices to accommodate up to 16 doctoral students. These spaces have the necessary furniture and internet access.
- A doctoral classroom for teaching, work sessions or seminars, with capacity for 20 people.
- Assistance from the administrative and service staff of our Secretariat in all matters related to the services of the Department.
Students also have physical and telematic access to the resources available in the social sciences library of the Universitat de València and, in particular, to the collections of scientific journals and economic databases. The library also offers special help and assistance services to doctoral students. They also have access to the internet via wifi throughout the campus, and a whole range of services to facilitate their stay, such as cafeteria service or assistance in finding accommodation.
The Universitat de València has different sources of information related to the professional interest of the degree and its professional possibilities, such as, for example, the UVEmpleo career opportunities portal, whose objective is the professional insertion of its students and graduates, acting as a bridge between training and employment.
