The doctoral thesis will be assessed in the defence act that will be held in an open session and will consist of the presentation and defence of the research work by the doctoral student. The doctors attending the public event can put questions when allowed by the president of the assessment committee, designed by the Committee of the knowledge area of the Area of Health Sciences.
Evaluation
The committee will issue a report and the overall mark given to the thesis according to the next scale: Fail, Pass, Notable (B) and Distinction.
The committee could give the cum laude mention if the overall mark is a Distinction and for that purpose they will cast the secret positive vote by unanimity.
