The process is analogue to that of the subscription but changing the command subscribe for unsubscribe (really the command is signoff but unsubscribe is an alias of the latter one)
A message is sent with the following body
Unsubscribe list
To the address:
Where ‘list’ is the name of the list we want to unsubscribe from. The Subject of the message we send is ignored by the server.
If the signing file is automatically included, it is necessary to add the ‘end’ command (or two dashes at the beginning of a line without anything else) and following the ‘unsubscribe’ and before the signature.
The server will send a confirmation message saying you have been unsubscribed from the list.
In case of problems, you can contact the list responsible (the person, not the server) so that he can manually unsubscribe you in the address: list-request@listserv.uv.es, where ‘list’ shall be substituted with the list name.
