Emai redirection

With this service you can redirect your email address to any other electronic email account, if temporarily or definitely you want to receive the messages in other site (server).

This is useful, for example, in case of a trip or extended stays in other place, also connected to Internet, where you have been assigned other account. For avoiding to check regularly both inboxes (overall if one of them is far away and difficult to access) is very easy to “redirect” the inbox messages to the other account (to the closest) and to check only the last.

Be aware of “mail loops”. You should never redirect the address of an email to the same address! (even if this is done indirectly, going through others). This will cause that you don’t receive messages, given that an unsolvable “loop” of mails between serves will occur.

It makes no sense that you redirect your messages to more of one inbox. Not only you will increase the network load, but also, periodically, you will have to erase all the copies that you have sent to the accounts that you don’t read regularly. The most appropriate is to send everything to one inbox that is the one that you always read and the one you usually connect from different network locations.

For any resend message, leave a copy in the original inbox, remember that you have to check it once in a while: if the account is full not only the following copies won’t be saved but redirection won’t also function.

In the servers of the UV, redirection associated to an email account is eliminated at the same moment in which this is cancelled. Thus, if you leave definitely, redirections will only function for a while, until the account is cancelled.
