We intend to analyse the budgets of all decentralised spending units of this university, in compliance of our Work Programme.
This work includes a detailed exploitation of the main budgeting variables, which allows us to produce individual reports at a centre, Institute... level. These reports of the financial management of the different Units are mainly descriptive, including data of great interest that isn’t always known by the Units they are referencing to. The reports will be presented personally to the responsible technicians and scholars of each centre, Research Institute, campus units, libraries, etc.
Regularity Audit
Regarding the regularity audit, which is to be done with a representative expenditure sample, we have selected a number of centres/Institutes/services, etc. via a preconceived sampling, extracted according to a list of different criterion (geographical, budgeting volume, typological...). Once these Units have been selected, the sampling producing the expenses subject to auditing is completely random.
In each exercise we vary the selected Units so that the audit of expenditures reaches all of them within a reasonable timeframe.
