Management control: Operative tools aims to train students to master the operative tools that allows them management control of organisation, such as the role of handling of information provided by Management Accounting for the control and its implication in decision-making, the budget process, systems based in activities, quality and environmental management systems, application of theory of limitations as well as suitable management of the supply and projects chain. The student will understand the application of said tools both in industrial, services or commercial companies, with specific characteristics and of diverse sectors.
Strategic Management Contro has the aim of providing students with the concepts and tools that are required in strategic management control: understanding the relevance and implications of management control; knowlegde of the importance of strategy management for sustainability and/or value creation; qualifying in design and implementation of management systems; authorising in knowledge of the strategy management control systems; training in work methodology for the design of strategic maps; and, knowing the skills of Controller.
Work placements have the goal the stay of a student in a company, in a real contact situation with everyday work, without professional or work relationships. He/she will be supervised by a professor of the university and a employer of the company, carrying out a programme of training activities in the subjects of speciality of Management Control, with the objective of complementing his/her university training and facilitate his/her employability.
