Assessment system

The assessment activities of each subject will be defined in the course guides, as well as the percentage that they represent on the final mark. The assessment activities that will be defined are listed below:

  • Objective test, consisting of one or various exams that will count both on theory-practical matters and problems.
  • Assessment of the practical activities since the production of projects, memories and/or oral exhibitions.
  • Continous assessment of each student, based on the participation and involvement degree of the students in the teaching-learning process, taking into account the regular attendance to the expected face-to-face activities and the determination of proposed matters and problems. 
  • Assessment of a final project in which the students deal with the design of a complete water-treatment plant by means of a computer programme.
  • Assessment of the theory and practice concepts.
  • Assessment of the practical cases.
  • Development of a project about some topic concerning the subject.
  • Report of the business tutor, in which shall be made known: the compliance of the foreseen hours, the capacity of integration in the working group and the assessment of the activity made by the students.
  • Final memory of the activities made in the company, which will determine objectively the difficulty of the tasks performed and the relation with the Master's subjects.que determinará de forma objetiva la dificultad de las tareas realizadas y la relación con las materias del máster.
  • The Master's Degree Final Project will be assessed by a tribunal designed by the Monitoring Inter-University Committee and the Academic Coordination of the Master's.
  • Assessment of the compulsory attendance practical activities. Both attitude and skill shown in the laboratory will be assessed, as well as the filled booklet with the results of each practice.
  • Assessment by means the exhibition and participation in seminars.
