“I studied System Engineering and Audiovisual and Multimedia Techniques at the Paris-Sorbonne University and at the team of musicology research IreMus, but I needed some training to increase my competences in the area of application and web services development.

Searching for quality training, I found the Master’s Degree in Services and Web Applications Engineering of the UV. Thanks to this Master’s Degree I learnt every step and the tools for developing web applications from back-end (database: Mysql, Postgres; servers: Apache, Tomcat, Glassfish) to front-end (CSS3, html5, JQuery, Javascript) in JavaEE (servlet, jpa, jsf, jsp, modelo MVC, etc.). It was also interesting learning how to conduct 2D and 3D animations and small videogames (unity3D, javascript libraries).

Lastly, the Master’s Degree allows deepening in how to manage a project, lay a web interface out and control the usability. Now, with all the projects carried out during the Master’s Degree, and all the variety of its technology, I know how to create web applications for musicology research or any other ambit.”
