Prevention measures for infectious diseases after the DANA.

The Spanish Society of Microbiology with the collaboration of the Science Culture and Innovation Unit of the University of Salamanca have elaborated a series of informative panels with preventive advice in order to avoid infections during the DANA.

The Spanish Society of Microbiology, a non-profit scientific society that supports microbiology research, with the collaboration of the Science Culture and Innovation Unit, a service directed by the Vice-Principal of Research and Tech Transfer of the University of Salamanca, have created a series of infographics which contain information about how to avoid infectious diseases which might be provoked by the flooding that has affected Valencia because of the DANA.

It consists on advice in order to avoid infection of diarrheic diseases, gastrointestinal problems, skin infections and health problems caused by fungi or other microorganisms and in order to protect themselves against mosquito bites or injuries.
