BIOTECMED is a Higher Institute of Cooperative Research and institute of the University of Valencia in the field of Molecular Biology applied to Biotechnology and Biomedicine with two main objectives:

 

• Scientific excellence: strengthen and promote research in basic and applied molecular biology in the University of Valencia, enhancing interaction between scientific quality related groups contrasted by external committees.

• Transferability: boost technology transfer activities articulating interactions with companies, especially those located in the the Science Park and the Business Incubator of the University of Valencia, on the topics of biotechnology and biomedicine.
