The Miguel de Molina Exhibition 'Yo quiero ser diferente' ('I Want to be Different') brings the avant-garde life and art of this figure of the Spanish culture, from his beginning in the 30s in Madrid until his leaving the stage in 1960 in Buenos Aires, where he was exhiled to. Exceptional performer, the 'Rey de la copla' ('The Copla King') revolutionised the world of performing arts and remains a reference for many contemporary artists.
Exhibiting material from the Miguel de Molina Foundation legacy (letters, writings, pictures, music sheets, costumes, scene designs...) is a live testimony of his rich creative labour and a tribute to an artist oppressed by Francoism for his political believes and sxual preferences.
