VolunteeringUV inscriptions will be open until 31 October. It is the chance for students to get involved in volunteering programmes of efficient and transforming actions for social collectives to have an impact on the causes of inequality.

For the 2025-2026 academic year, eight areas will be open for training and volunteering: cooperation; culture; equality and diversity against gender-based violence; infance, adolescence and youth; elderly; refugees human rights promotion; sustainability; disabled people support.

The VolunteeringUV initiative is aimed for degree and post-degree students and is formed in two actions: 

• Training (15 hours). Learning about volunteering (5 hours) and training in the chosen area (10 hours). 

• Volunteering. Students will choose a proposal from the area of training they selected.

Students can check the volunteering proposals ad the calendar on the VolunteeringUV website. According to their selected area, they can participate in UV specific volunteering or from other social entities like ACNUR, Ayuda en acción, Bioagradables, Cotlas, Fundación Iniciativa Social, Fundación Mainel, Fundación Proyecto Senior, Juntos por la vida, Lares, Save the Children and SED ONGD.
