The Universitat de València community gathered this morning at the doors of different buildings to express its condemnation of the murder of a woman that took place in the municipality of Antella.

The Executive Council of the Universitat de València, in response to the call of the Council of the Valencian Government, invited the entire university community to gather at the doors of the university buildings at 12 noon on 11 July 2023 to observe a minute of silence “in memory of the victim, and of all victims of gender-based violence, and in rejects of all forms of violence, but especially violence against women.”

At 12 noon today, members of the university community gathered at the doors of several university buildings to express “the academic institution’s strongest condemnation.” Those who gathered held signs and posters that read “Another woman murdered”, “We want to live” and “No more gender-based violence”.
