The Exchange of Accommodation between Universities is a social initiative that emerged in 1984 between and for the University Administration and Services Personnel, consisting of the use of the Residence Halls, University Residences or various Accommodation, provided free of charge by the Universities for the enjoyment on behalf of the vacations of this staff.
The management of this social program is directed and organized through the Commission for the Exchange of University Accommodation for the PAS (CIAU-PAS), a Commission made up of all the Universities that submit an offer that meets the conditions established by it.
The spirit of the CIAU-PAS is universal and is open to the inclusion of all public or private Universities, both nationally and internationally, provided that their offer meets the minimum comfort requirements that are required in the Regulations that the CIAU- PAS approved to provide itself with a minimum regulatory order to facilitate and regulate its operation.
Subsequently, internally each University establishes its management, processing and distribution of the places that correspond to it. To this end, the University of Valencia annually prepares the Calls with the offer and conditions for access to them.
