Solar Panel
This circuit is for charging a lithium battery (1230mAh, 3.7V 4.5Wh) using solar panels. The load process is done by the integrated MAX1811. It has the following features: Accuracy of 0.5%, an output diode to indicate the charging status (in our case it is not used for optimization of consumption). Selectable charging current (100mA or 500mA), and it is valid to two types of batteries (4,1V and 4.2V). It has an Enable input pin thus we can manage the load process with the mote. The voltage of the solar panels is constant and not exceed 5V. The controller used is L7805. We use the solar panel SOLAREX MSX 005F, 0.5W.
