To improve the effectiveness the quality of intervention programs for intimate partner violence perpetrators through the detailed analysis of the main risk factors of the participants and the design of targeted intervention protocols focused on the factors that hinder change. Furthermore, given that one of the most difficult challenges for the programs developed in Spain is contacting the victim, the aim is to generate a protocol for the analysis and establishment of contact with the participant's social network, so that relevant information can be obtained from this network in order to prevent the risk of recidivism. The team will develop activities including the analysis and categorization of risk factors, design of intervention protocols, training of facilitators, evaluation of implementation viability of the protocols during the first phases of the intervention, as well as dissemination of the results in academic and professional circles and raising awareness in the general public.
