CIDEC
University of

CIDEC is the Center of Information and European Documentation
of Public, Social and Co-operative Economy, of the Valencia University Economics Faculty and
of the scientific association CIRIEC-Spain.
From 1989, center offeres information and advice to researchers, students and
the others interested in topic of Social Economy, especially for those
working as worker co-operatives, agricultural co-operatives, and
the other co-operatives, non-profit organisations and associations, and in subject matter related to employment, social services and rural tourism.
CIDEC publishes the magazine of information "News of the Public, Social and Cooperative Economy", and
it collaborates on all of publications of CIRIEC-Spain.
CIDEC also has a DATA BASE in which it processes, stores and indexes national and international magazine articles on social and co-operative economy and articles on public economy,
in its documentation centers.

It integrates to the great majority of the institutional sectors of the Social Economy, from the agrarian Cooperatives to the consumption Cooperatives, the ELEVEN, the Group Mondragón Cooperative Corporation, the Confederation of Foundations, etc., but it doesn't include an important cooperative sector: the Cooperatives of work associate.
