Among the activities developed by the CIDEC it highlights the publication of the Magazine News of the Public, Social and Cooperative Economy, more popularly well-known as “News of the CIDEC” whose first edition dates of June of 1991.
The magazine, born with the purpose of establishing a permanent and periodic communication between the professionals of the sector of the Social Economy and the academic-university world, in general, among those people interested by this field, it has been secured with the time and enjoys recognition in the sector.
It is fair to recognize that without the implication of a high number of people, to which it is impossible to mention here in their entirety, for space reasons, we could not publish the magazine. Also one of the fundamental things is the interest and financial support that the Valencian Generalitat offers sysrematically though its competent Consellería responsable for Cooperative and Social Economy.
We hope that this reflexive experience is useful to the men and women of the cooperative world, to the workers, intellectuals, investigators, educational and interested by the Social Economy, and that it contributes to increase the visibility of this sector in the
society.
