BECOMING AN AVE MEMBER

The main goal of the AVE is to organize all the spanish variable star observers which are distributed in a lot of local and regional associations. The AVE's headquarter is sited at Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, in the Canary Islands, here it's the Visual committee, too. The PEP committee and the CCD committee are both sited at València, and the Publications committee is sited at Cáceres. The AVE has two kinds of members; the individual and the entities, the second kind of member, as a collective, has its own local variable star section directors, so these directors are considered AVE local coordinators.We have established so, because of the actual spanish observers panorama, for further info you could read(spanish version only) the carta de presentación.

The new member receives by postal mail, the next  material ;

- The Variable Star Handbook(written in spanish).
- AAVSO Charts.
- Last published circular(written in spanish).

The circulars are quarterly edited,however, before the end of this year will be edited a new magazine, which will include a variety of research articles.The AVE has diverse internet services, an http address(as you can see), an anonymous ftp address, in this place we have situated all our archives, and a mailing-list(for further info visit the news(spanish version) section).

The membership application(written in spanish) has been saved in tiff format, here you can find a zipped copy soling.zip. Just open it with a visor image software then print your own copy, instructions are inside.
