“Training and development of adults in organizational settings”
This seminar is designed to provide intensive exposure to the literature pertaining to training and development of adults in organizational settings. The seminar will be delivered based on a five-year federal grant focusing on safety leadership training, although the contents will be applicable to other contexts. The seminar will cover topics including evaluations, designs, needs assessment, training transfer, trainee characteristics, organizational characteristics, training characteristics, training programs, return of investment, and changes.
